 This kid was SO adorable! He just started laughing all of a sudden!

Sweet baby boy

SHOOT! I was hoping to post this from my NEW ipad, but it's setting up right now, and I want this post up before that's done.

Here's a baby-boy card that I made a while ago!

I will soon get some jewelry making suplies in the mail, so there's gonna be some other posts, not just cards anymore! But I will still do them! 

I have to say that my favorite cards are the once with pictures on them, and this one is just a general card that I can give to anyone, or maybe even sell to someone!

Funny old story!

Today I'm so lost.. i was going to drive my brother to the city to go fishing, and we had to pick up a friend of his on the way, and when we were leaving for the city, i headed to the main road or highway or whatever you wanna call it.

That main road goes from the city to an island right outside the city called Sotra (not very important) and I drove towards Sotra instead of the city.

The point is that at the place i had to turn around, we once went shopping for groceries, with the same friend of my brother, and that's when this happened, so that's why i remembered it now!

I stopped for a lady in the mid-60's that was about to cross the road, she got off her bike, and she lost her balance, and just stared at me with panic in her eyes, like an "I'm gonna die"-look. I don't know what went trough my head, but I just started laughing at this poor lady! It was awful! And she saw me!

Then i rolled down the window and asked her if she was ok, and she started laughing too, so that was good, right?

and my brother fas just like "and you're supposed to be working at a nursing-home, helping old ladies?" and his friend just said, from the back seat "you're mean".

It was so embarrassing!!

Scrap book pictures

Hey guys! 

I'm just posting these pictures I made a while ago! 

These were made on those wood-frames with white canvas. I just took a scrap booking sheet, and stapled it to the wooden frame in the back, and then decorated it with some pictures, lace and flowers! Super easy!

I can make a post on how to make these if anyone wants me to! Leave a comment! :D

First wedding card I've made!

Oh gosh! TWO days! I'm so not disciplined, or used to having a blog to upload on every day.. I'm going to start pre-writing some posts so that I'll actually have stuf to upload on the days I'm to bussy studying!

Today I'm posting the cards i talked about in a post a few days ago, that I sent to Ireland!

The truth is that this is the first wedding card I've ever made, and I was so happy with it! 

Happy with both of them actually, but for a first-timer, i think that turned out pretty good!

The wedding card is a taste of what's coming in wedding cards! And i will be making and posting more wedding cards in the future! Hope you liked these cards!

I love the Cinderella movie with Hilary Duff, and in the restaurant her dad owned this quote was painted on the wall.

I just ordered this quote as a wall-decal from Ebay for $17 and i can't wait to get it! The quote can make a bad day seem not so bad.

Stressed out day!

Today has been a really stressful day! We were going to order pizza so that we didn't have to make dinner, yes we're lazy some times.. My mom, me and my brother are sick, so that's the way it was today..
Even tho i felt like crap today I went to classes for 4 hours to listen to a guy talk about blood pressure and respiration.

The plan to get dinner was store - get pizza - get home - eat.

I was going to the store, and i realized I forgot my bankcard, typical me, and i started to stress out. I went home to get my card, couldn't find it so I borrowed my mom's, then I went back to the store to pay for, and get the stuff I was getting. Then I went to get the pizza place, and they didn't take creditcards.. Unbelievable for Americans, a fact in Norway... So I went back home, got another card, then back to the pizza place to get the pizzas, and then home!

I was so frustrated I just started crying.. I have way to much going on, and a test in 3 weeks about hygiene, and then in 6 weeks anatomy exam.. So I have a lot to do..

Like learning all this..

Broken promise!

I had a silent promise to myself to post something here every day, yesterday I broke that promise.. But I'm back, with a new promise to you, and myself, I will TRY to post every day. But as you know I'm in uni, so I have a lot to do and not always that much time to do it. So bare with me!

Another baby-card with room for the baby's name on the front. No decorations on the inside yet.. Not sure if I just want it to be this simple!!

First snow!

I'm trying out how it works to put posts, with pictures, up from my phone.. Would be genius if it worked!

But I have no idea where the pictures will end up.. If it's in the middle of the post, or all at the end..

The pictures here are if the wiew from our cabin, and a snow heart.. I know I live in Norway, but snow in October? Not what I was hoping... Although it looks pretty..

today's post is, as the title suggests, about me, and 10 basic things that will have it's impact on this blog.

1. I go to uni, studying to be a nurse.

2. I love being creative, like scrap-booking, card-making and picture-taking.

3. I'm 21years old and living in Norway.

4. I like to read, but don't have that much time for it as I'm in uni.

5. I need music to live, and my guitar is my baby.

7. In Norway we don't really celebrate halloween, but i love all the decorations! (they're starting to get lot of halloween stuff in the stores here too now)

8. I'm a nail polish junkie!

New Supplies!

Today's card is more of a birtday-card for any girl. Big flower in the corner, some small rhinestone flowers and a couple of butterflies.

Today i bought some new suplies, some of them were on sale, so i can justify that! 

Some "fabric brads" as it says on the pacage, looks like fabric buttons without the holes to me! But they were so cute, and perfect for some wedding cards!

Cute silver and gold wedding-ring stickers!

This is just a metal plate with christmas patterns on it, perfect to use with stamps for christmas cards, or just gift-tags for christmas.

And last, but not least, some glittery cupcakes! Perfect as a small decoration on a birthday card! 

First card-post

You will soon see that I make a lot of baby-cards, but I do make other cards too. I just haven't been as good with taking pictures of them. I've made both baby-cards and wedding cards with pictures. But i sent these to Ireland before i took pictures of it. So hopefully i can get pictures from them of it to put on here. 

The front of this card has room for the baby's name or a picture

 The inside doesn't have a lot of decorations so there's a lot of room to write in it.

Hello, and welcome to my blog, Maurens corner.

This blog is going to be about all the things i enjoy, there will be a lot of photography, cards, scrapbooking things, and other creative hobbies of mine. Some fashion, nails and beauty is going to be a part of this blog too.

Every now and then i'm gonna post a "get to know me" post, where you'll, obviously, get to know me a little!

If the interest is there, i will be selling my cards for around 15usd+shipping. I know this is a lot, but i live in Norway, and just material for the cards is around $7, and it takes time to make them. Shipping inside of Norway has a good price, shipping in europe is OK, and worldwide, well that's another story. You will soon be able to read more about ordering cards under "Orders"
